During this school year, Junior Joel Roman completed his drawings of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe which are all put in chronological order on display in M-Hall.
Since being a fan of this vast series of characters and movies he decided to put his love for marvel and drawing with painting together.
Roman Said, “I wanted to create this big project because I’ve been a fan of the MCU forever, and it’s always been a passion project that’s been in my head and I’ve had just been waiting for the right moment to actually start it, and I feel like the MCU is also important to other people as well and I just wanted to push myself into a challenge this big.”
With Roman wanting to do this big project he had gotten his inspiration to do it from a famous Youtuber.
Roman Stated, “Drawing every Marvel movie was something I wanted to do forever, but it really was the artist James Raiz AKA TheBoxOfficeArtist who I came across and actually did it officially for Marvel in 2018 and that inspired me to try and do this piece.”
When Roman finished this piece that he was inspired to do he had a mixture of emotions.
Roman Shared, “When I finished endgame and put it up with the rest, I couldn’t believe that I made it this far into the project and as an artist I just sat in front of the wall for minutes in awe, I’ve never been so proud of myself in a while and I just felt emotional.”
After completing this huge project this left Roman with an idea of what to draw next.
Roman Said, “Since I completed this project I still need to complete everything after endgame, but after that there’s so many opportunities to draw other franchises like thoughts I’ve had were, what if I drew all of Star Wars or the new DC Universe or draw every Pokémon but those are bigger dreams that won’t happen for a while but Marvel stuff is what I’m most into doing as of right now.”
